DRIVING THE FUTURE
OF RAIL FORWARDS
We support Network Rail to maintain and develop the railway infrastructure in England, Scotland and Wales. We cover over 20,000 miles of track – including 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts, as well as thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. We also support the rapid renewal of the rail network hauling with our use of the award-winning high-output ballast cleaner for Network Rail.
Through our passenger train operating license, we can also operate passenger services to support TOCs & ROSCOs – including the provision of drivers and route conducting services.

RAIL INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS
RAIL HEAD TREATMENT TRAINS
During autumn leaf fall, operational problems with signalling can affect the performance of trains when it comes to starting, accelerating, climbing hills, or even stopping at stations and signals. The provision of our RHTTs can remedy all of these major challenges.

LOCAL DISTRIBUTION CENTRES
Local distribution centres act as the day-to-day management points for the shunting, marshalling and preparation of trains needed to support engineering works carried out by Network Rail. Freightliner Heavy Haul operates these premier LDCs for the West Coast Mainline, connecting the major cities of London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow.
