Rail transport plays an important role in this PFI, in keeping traffic off the roads and therefore making a positive contribution to the climate change agenda. It was extremely important for us to find a haulier who could provide not only a quality service but deliver the reliability which will be required as part of our ambitious plans for recycling and creating green fuel for the future.

- Barry Milsom, Head of Major Possessions Delivery
I have personally worked with Freightliner at Easter 2013 when Route Conducting was provided for First Great Western when West County High Speed Services was diverted via Basingstoke to London Waterloo and again for Easter 2015 when South Wales High Speed Services are diverted via Banbury to London Paddington and West County High Speed Services to London Waterloo.
Pre delivery and delivery for the Route Conducting services has been excellent, both Freightliner and First Great Western have worked jointly to deliver the advanced Route Learning on the diverted routes and to make sure our businesses are aligned during delivery. At Easter 2013, the feedback from our High Speed Drivers was excellent and we remain assured that this will be the case at Easter 2015.
First Great Western is grateful for the level of focus and attention given to our business requirements by Freightliner and we look forward to working together in the future.
